Editing the navigation options (SiteMap)

Some times we feel the need to change the options for application navigation. In this post we will change the descriptions of Accounts and Contacts.

 

 

 

 

In your solution, click Add Existing, and select Site Map.

 

 

 

 

 

After adding, select the component Sitemap, and click Export Solution.

 

 

 

 

 

Follow the steps as below pictures

 

 

 

 

After you click Export, Save on your local machine.

 

 

 

 

Unzip the saved file, and edit the file customizations.
You will see something similar as below:

Customer Group, add the Title tag, and save the file.
 

 

 

 

Select all the files and compress again.

 

 

In Dynamics CRM, go to Settings, Solutions, and click Import

 

Select the file you created, and then follow the steps below.

 

After publishing, you will see that the titles of accounts and contacts changed.
